Somewhere in a classroom, a young student sits taller, no longer intimidated by the digital world because he learned the fundamentals of coding and artificial intelligence.
Somewhere, a woman steps into her day with newfound independence, ready to navigate small-scale entrepreneurship because she mastered financial literacy.
Somewhere, an NGO partner feels equipped to create a far deeper impact for their beneficiaries because they learned effective project management and communication strategies.
These aren’t isolated moments of progress. They are the proof what happens when skill meets goodwill.
Corporate Social Responsibility lives in the people of AXA; it is the pulse of our everyday culture. CSR here is entirely employee-driven, rooted in a quiet conviction that true support goes far beyond traditional charity. It’s not just about donating resources. It’s about sharing ourselves – our time, our minds, and our hard-won craft.
During this year’s AXA Week for Good at AXA GBS – a week dedicated to our corporate social responsibility commitments – our teams took on a meaningful dare.
What if our everyday professional capabilities became a tool for lasting human progress?
This year, we didn’t want to offer generic assistance. Instead, we partnered closely with local NGOS across Bangalore, Pune, and Rabat to listen first. We mapped our colleagues’ unique talents directly against the genuine, day-to-day needs of our beneficiary communities.
Our employees stepped up as mentors, creators, and advocates. Working in dedicated groups, teams used AI tools to craft learning modules, carefully translating materials across multiple languages – English, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Arabic, and French – so that every lesson felt personal, accessible, and grounded in respect.
Charity offers immediate relief. But capabilities create enduring independence.
Through our skills-based volunteering model,by passing on practical knowledge, we handed our beneficiaries tools they keep forever – skills that help them navigate an ever-changing world with confidence:
When employee passion drives purpose, the ripple effect is profound:
Because of this extraordinary heart and dedication, AXA GBS has been awarded the 2026 Skills for Good award by the AXA Group Sustainability Team.
This award belongs entirely to our people. It honors the truth that when volunteering is driven by empathy and real-world skills, we don’t just offer temporary aid. We give people permanent confidence to shape their own futures.
